Location: Wirral
Hours: 5-15 hours per week

Are you an experienced English Teacher or Tutor looking for flexible 1:1 work?
Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting for a GCSE English Tutor to support a learner in Wirral. The role will involve identifying areas for development and delivering focused tuition designed around the learner's individual goals.
The Role
Deliver individual GCSE English tuition
Support reading, writing and comprehension skills
Prepare lessons tailored to current attainment
Identify gaps in knowledge and target key areas
Assist with GCSE preparation where appropriate
Develop confidence and engagement with the subject
Record and communicate learner progress
Requirements
Experience teaching or tutoring GCSE English
Strong understanding of the GCSE curriculum
Previous 1:1 tuition experience advantageous
Ability to differentiate and adapt lessons
Positive and encouraging teaching style
QTS, PGCE or relevant teaching experience desirable
Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply
Right to Work in the UK
