Position: Compliance Contract Lead (Electrical, Fire, Lifts) – Interim (Senior Executive) Location: Gosport Town Hall, Gosport, PO12 1EB Start Date: ASAP (14 September 2026) Contract Duration: Until 4 December 2026 Working Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm Pay Rate: £450.00 per day Job Reference: (phone number removed) Job Responsibilities Lead and oversee compliance contracts covering electrical, fire safety and lift services. Ensure relevant statutory, regulatory and health and safety requirements are met. Monitor contractor performance, service delivery and compliance standards. Manage contract issues, risks and performance concerns, taking appropriate action where required. Work with internal teams, contractors and other stakeholders to maintain effective compliance arrangements. Review relevant documentation, licences, qualifications and registrations to ensure requirements are met. Provide senior-level advice and support on compliance and contract management matters. Maintain accurate records and ensure required reports and documentation are completed. Person Specification Must-Have Requirements Significant experience in compliance contract management. Strong knowledge of electrical, fire safety and lift compliance requirements. Experience managing contractors and monitoring service performance. Good understanding of health and safety and relevant statutory obligations. Strong communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities. Eligible to work in the UK. Nice-to-Have Requirements Experience working within a local authority or public-sector environment. Previous experience in a senior or interim compliance leadership role. Relevant professional qualifications or industry registrations. Experience managing multiple compliance disciplines within a property or estates environment
