Job Description
CareerMakers Recruitment is currently looking for Operatives for one of our clients based in Leeds, LS27.
Job Role:
* Load and position steel components into the CNC machine.
* Operate the machine using the designated controls and start/stop buttons.
* Monitor the machine during production to ensure it is operating correctly.
* Remove finished steel components and place them in the appropriate area.
* Carry out basic visual and dimensional quality checks.
* Follow production instructions, drawings, and workplace procedures.
* Keep the machine and work area clean and organised.
* Report machine faults, damaged materials, or quality issues to a supervisor.
* Follow all health and safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
* Maintain a steady production rate while ensuring safety and product quality.
Shifts:
* Monday - Friday
* 6pm - 6am OR 6am - 6pm
