Civil Engineer – Data Centre – Helsinki, Finland
Our client is a dedicated Data Centre Construction company providing turnkey solutions to our clients, headquartered in Dublin and delivering throughout Europe. As an engineering-focused organisation, they have grown to become one of the leading and most trusted companies in our sector.
We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join their team. This position will be based on-site in Helsinki, Finland.
Responsibilities
* Site Development & Infrastructure Coordination
Oversee civil works including earthworks, drainage, utilities, roads and external infrastructure supporting the data centre facility.
* Design Review & Compliance
Ensure all civil engineering designs align with Eurocodes, local authority requirements and project specifications.
* Stakeholder & Authority Liaison
Coordinate with utility providers and local authorities to secure permits, approvals and service connections.
* Construction Oversight & Issue Resolution
Monitor site activities, resolve design and constructability issues, and ensure works are delivered in line with programme requirements.
* Cost, Programme & Procurement Monitoring
Track progress, material quantities and procurement schedules while supporting tender reviews and subcontractor coordination.
Requirements
Must have relevant degree level qualification or equivalent trades background
Must have 5+ years previous experience in a similar role on Data Centres or similar large scale construction projects
EU Passport is preferred
