Multi-Skilled Joiner / Fabric Engineer Location: Nottingham & surrounding areas Salary: £15–£17 per hour (£35,100–£39,780 per annum) Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30am–5:00pm – 45 paid hours per week Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Benefits: Company van, paid travel, overtime, training & progression Are you an experienced Joiner, Carpenter or Multi-Trade Operative looking for a permanent mobile role around Nottingham? We are recruiting for a growing Facilities Management company looking to add an experienced Multi-Skilled Joiner / Fabric Engineer to its team. You will work across schools and residential care environments, carrying out a mixture of planned refurbishment projects and reactive maintenance. The role is heavily focused on joinery alongside kitchen and bathroom fitting, so would suit someone with a strong carpentry/joinery background who is comfortable turning their hand to other trades. The Role * Joinery and general building fabric repairs * Kitchen and bathroom fitting/refurbishment * Doors, frames, skirting, flooring and associated fixtures * Planned improvement and refurbishment works * Reactive building maintenance * Basic plumbing and patch plastering * Identifying and collecting materials required for jobs * Working independently across multiple sites * Updating completed works using a company-provided tablet What We're Looking For * Strong joinery/carpentry experience * Experience fitting kitchens and bathrooms * Trade qualification or time-served experience * Additional plumbing, plastering or general maintenance experience beneficial * Full UK driving licence * Comfortable working independently in a mobile role * Able to obtain an Enhanced DBS * Good customer-facing skills and a professional approach Package * £15–£17 per hour * £35,100–£39,780 annual equivalent * 45 paid hours per week * Ford Transit company van * Business fuel covered * First hour of travel from home paid * Overtime and weekends available at 1.5x * Company-funded training and additional qualifications * 20 days' holiday + 8 bank holidays * Accommodation and food allowance when working away * Long-term opportunity with a growing business The interview process consists of an initial general interview followed by a second trade-focused interview.
