Job Description
TAPER & JOINTER
Location: Leicester
Rate: £200pd
⏰ Hours: Monday–Friday, 08:00–16:30 / 8 hours paid
Duration: 8 weeks project
CSCS: Required
Start Date: 28 September, 2026
We are currently looking for experienced Taper & Jointers for an ongoing construction project.
Duties include:
Taping and jointing plasterboard
Applying jointing compounds
Filling and finishing joints
Installing and finishing corner beads
Preparing surfaces for painting and decoration
Sanding and achieving a smooth finish
Working from drawings and specifications
Rectifying imperfections and completing snagging
Maintaining a clean and safe working area
Requirements:
Valid CSCS Card
Proven Taper & Jointer experience
Good attention to detail
Able to produce a high-quality finish
2 checkable references
Good understanding of site health & safety
