Commercial Engineer Salary: £45,000 per annum Location: [DE Postcode] Job Type: Full-time, Permanent We are looking for an experienced Commercial Engineer to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer who is confident working in commercial environments and looking for a stable role with no out-of-hours call-outs. You will be responsible for carrying out service, repair and installation work across a range of commercial sites, providing a professional and reliable service to our customers. The Role * Carrying out planned and reactive service and repair work within commercial settings. * Installing equipment and systems to a high standard. * Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs. * Completing testing, inspection and commissioning where required. * Maintaining accurate service and job records. * Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with relevant health and safety procedures. * Representing the company professionally when working on customer sites. * Working independently while maintaining good communication with the wider team. Working Hours * Monday to Friday – standard working hours. * No out-of-hours work or call-out rota. * 1 in 4 Saturdays on a rota basis. * Saturday work paid at time and a half. Requirements The successful candidate will ideally have: * Proven experience as a Commercial Engineer or in a similar engineering role. * Strong experience in service, repair and installation. * Experience working within commercial environments. * Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills. * The ability to work independently and manage your own workload. * Excellent customer-facing and communication skills. * A strong commitment to health and safety and quality workmanship. * Relevant industry qualifications and certifications. * A full UK driving licence.
