Job Description
WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE
Pertemps are recruiting on behalf of our client, a multi-award-winning office machine distributor, for a Warehouse Operative to join their successful and friendly team on a temporary basis.
The Role
As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for a variety of warehouse duties, including:
Picking and packing orders
Loading and unloading deliveries
Stock handling and movement
General warehouse housekeeping
Supporting the wider warehouse team to ensure smooth operations
Previous warehouse experience is essential, and a valid forklift licence would be advantageous.
About You
The ideal candidate will:
Have previous experience in a warehouse or stores environment
Be physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties
Be able to work independently when required
Enjoy working as part of a team
Take pride in their work and contribute positively to a high-performing warehouse operation
Hours & Pay
Monday to Friday
9:00am to 5:30pm
£12.80 per hour
