Job Title: Youth & Wellbeing Support Worker - 1:1, Primary School, HA9 Location: HA9, Brent Start Date: ASAP / September 2026 Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term Tempest Resourcing is currently recruiting on behalf of a primary school based in HA9, Brent, with a fantastic team and great staffing culture, seeking a dedicated 1:1 Support Worker to work closely with a Year 1 pupil. About the Role: This is a rewarding 1:1 role, working closely with one pupil to provide consistent, patient, and personalised support throughout their school day. You'll build a trusted relationship with the child, helping them feel safe, understood, and able to engage fully in learning and school life. This role would suit someone from a youth work, mentoring, counselling, or graduate background who is looking to bring those relationship-building skills into an education setting. Requirements: SEN experience essential (school, youth work, mentoring, or care settings all considered) Patient, warm, and consistent, able to build trust with a young child Comfortable working 1:1 and adapting your approach to the individual Strong understanding of safeguarding Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)Who We Welcome: Counsellors, mentors, graduates, youth workers, and anyone with a genuine passion for supporting young people are all encouraged to apply.
