Minor Works Supervisor
£36,000 - £42,000

Abatec are recruiting for a proactive and commercially aware Highways Minor Works Supervisor to join a highways contract in Stroudwater, Gloucestershire.
You will supervise minor works, lead operational teams and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, profitably and to the required standards.
Duties
* Supervise and coordinate structural maintenance and improvement works
* Manage operational teams and subcontractors including on-boarding and deliver works safely, efficiently.
* Early Contactor Involvement (ECI) with the client.
* Plan and allocate resources to meet programme deadlines
* Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with safety, quality and environmental standards
* Review and manage RAMS and ensure safe systems of work are implemented
* Carry out site inspections and audits
* Monitor performance against productivity and KPI targets
* Cost & Value works accurately
* Liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure effective communication
* Promote a strong health & safety culture across all works
Person Specification
* Experience in Supervising teams in the construction, highways or a similar sector is preferrable.
* Construction Supervision, Highways Maintenance or a related discipline is desirable
* An understanding of CDM roles and responsibilities.
