Commercial Electrician Locations: South East London Basic salary: £35,000–£42,000 Realistic OTE: £63,000–£69,000+ The Opportunity Valoris Group Limited is recruiting experienced Commercial Electricians to support the mobilisation of a major five-year electrical compliance contract. The work forms part of a structured national programme, making it ideal for electricians who want reliable earnings without gaps between projects. The Role Working across a range of commercial sites, your responsibilities will include: * Completing Electrical Installation Condition Reports * Carrying out emergency lighting inspections and testing * Undertaking thermal imaging surveys, with full training provided * Completing reports accurately and working to agreed productivity targets All work is pre-planned and organised as part of a national rollout, allowing you to focus on completing high-quality testing efficiently and safely. Working Pattern * Monday to Thursday, with Fridays available as an optional working day * Standard hours of 12:00pm–10:00pm, including a one-hour break * Four-day core working week * Combination of standard-hours and enhanced-rate evening work * Approximately 50% working away from home on a planned rotation The working pattern has been designed to provide a strong work-life balance while allowing engineers to maximise their earnings through enhanced rates and optional Friday work. Salary and Package * Basic salary of £35,000–£42,000 * Realistic OTE of £63,000–£69,000+ * Enhanced pay rates for work completed after 6:00pm * £40 allowance for each night spent working away * £20 daily bonus for achieving agreed targets * Consistent, pre-planned workload throughout the contract Productive and flexible engineers will have a clear opportunity to earn significantly above their basic salary. What We’re Looking For * City & Guilds 2391 or an equivalent inspection and testing qualification * Proven commercial EICR testing experience * Ability to work accurately and efficiently within a target-based environment * Flexibility to travel and work away from home when required * Full UK driving licence You should be professional, dependable and comfortable managing a planned workload while maintaining high standards of safety, compliance and reporting.
