Job Description
The Role My client is looking for a Court of Protection Solicitor to join their specialist team, handling a varied caseload of Health & Welfare Court of Protection matters, with the opportunity to undertake Mental Health Tribunal work if desired. You will manage your own caseload, provide high-quality advice and representation, and work closely with a supportive team in a collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities • Manage a caseload of Court of Protection (Health & Welfare) matters. • Advise and represent clients while delivering excellent client care. • Meet agreed billing and performance targets. • Maintain accurate file and time records. • Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff. • Keep up to date with relevant legislation and case law. • Participate in supervision and ongoing professional development. • Contribute to business development through networking and building client relationships. • Ensure compliance with SRA, Legal Aid Agency and internal procedures. About You • Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with experience in Court of Protection (Health & Welfare). • Able to manage your own caseload with minimal supervision. • Strong client care, communication and organisational skills. • Commercially aware with excellent attention to detail. • A team player with a proactive and professional approach. • Committed to delivering high-quality legal services.
