Job Description
Beyond Talent Solutions are delighted to be supporting a growing accountancy practice as they look to appoint a Payroller to join their team on a part-time basis. Open to experienced payrollers or someone from an accountancy background wanting to learn the role. Working as part of a friendly and supportive team, you'll be responsible for managing a varied payroll portfolio of approximately 400 weekly and monthly payrolls. The Role You'll take ownership of end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring payrolls are completed accurately and on time whilst remaining compliant with current legislation. Key Responsibilities Processing weekly and monthly payrolls for a varied client portfolio Managing payrolls from start to finish Processing statutory payments including SMP, SSP and SPP Managing pension submissions and pension auto-enrolment requirements Completing pension declarations and ensuring compliance obligations are met Processing new starters and leavers Calculating holiday pay and statutory entitlements Liaising directly with clients regarding payroll queries Maintaining accurate payroll records and employee information Ensuring payroll deadlines are met consistently What We're Looking For Someone eager to learn Confident managing multiple payrolls and deadlines Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Comfortable communicating directly with clients What's on Offer? 4 days per week Typical working hours of 9:00am – 5:00pm Friendly and supportive team environment Long-term opportunity within a well-established practice c.£27-£31K pro rata dependant one experience If you're an experienced payroll professional looking for a flexible part-time opportunity within a supportive accountancy practice, or someone who is eager to learn payroll - we'd love to hear from you
