Senior Social Worker – Children & Families
Location: Lewisham, London
Council: Lewisham Council
Contract: Temporary / Full-time
Tripod Partners are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Social Worker to join a Children's Social Care service in Lewisham.
The Role
You will be responsible for:
* Managing a complex caseload
* Completing statutory assessments
* Undertaking child protection work
* Developing and reviewing care plans
* Working directly with children and families
* Assessing and managing risk
* Attending meetings and statutory reviews
* Working alongside partner agencies
* Maintaining high-quality case records
* Ensuring children receive appropriate support and intervention
About You
The successful candidate will have:
* A recognised Social Work qualification
* Current Social Work England registration
* Strong Children's Social Work experience
* Experience of statutory Children's Services
* Child Protection experience
* Strong assessment and analytical skills
* Excellent communication and report-writing skills
