Apricus Resourcing are working with a leading charitable organisation who are looking for a for a dedicated and compassionate Waking Night Support Worker to join a residential drug & alcohol service in Yarnton, Oxford. This is an excellent opportunity to play a vital role in supporting residents throughout the night, ensuring their safety, comfort, and wellbeing while promoting independence and dignity. As part of our committed team, you'll help create a safe, supportive environment where individuals can thrive, making a meaningful difference every night. Key Responsibilities * Provide high-quality overnight support to residents. * Ensure the safety, security, and wellbeing of individuals throughout the night. * Respond appropriately to residents' needs and any emergencies. * Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation. * Carry out routine welfare checks and support residents in line with individual care plans. * Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver person-centred care. About You We're looking for someone who: * Is caring, compassionate, and committed to supporting others. * Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Can remain calm and professional in challenging situations. * Is reliable, responsible, and able to work independently during night shifts. * Shares our values of respect, dignity, and person-centred support. Previous experience in a care or support setting is essential for this role.
