Job Description
Are you a skilled technician with a strong mechanical background and experience working with commercial vehicles?
Our client, a well-established provider of transport refrigeration equipment is looking for a for a Mobile Vehicle Maintenance Technician to join their team.
You will travel across your allocated area, carrying out servicing, preventative maintenance, fault finding and repairs across a customer fleet. This is a great opportunity to develop your technical skills, become multi skilled and play an important role in keeping vehicles safe, reliable and operational.
Key Responsivities:
* Carry out servicing, preventative maintenance and mechanical repairs
* Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults
* Attend customer sites to complete inspections, repairs and maintenance
* Use diagnostic equipment to identify faults
* Complete job cards, service records and timesheets accurately
* Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
* Support continuous improvement across mobile operations
* Complete relevant training to become multi skilled
Who They’re Looking For:
* Mechanical or commercial vehicle experience
* Strong mechanical and technical knowledge
* Fault finding and diagnostic experience
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* Electrical knowledge and ability to read wiring diagrams, desirable
* Computer literate
* Full UK driving licence - essential
* Flexible in working overtime when required
* Able to participate in early shift pattern
