Job Description
We're looking for a Service & Breakdown Engineer to join a well established and growing team, supporting residential customers by ensuring their heating systems remain safe, efficient, and reliable.

The Role
As a Service & Breakdown Engineer, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and repair of domestic heating systems, ensuring customers receive a professional and efficient service at all times.
Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on a range of gas, oil, and solid fuel heating appliances.
* Complete planned servicing and reactive maintenance work on boilers, fires, and associated heating systems.
* Ensure all work is carried out in line with current industry regulations and safety standards.
* Produce and maintain accurate service reports, safety documentation, and certification.
* Manage van stock effectively and coordinate with suppliers when required.
* Participate in an on-call rota to provide emergency support and assistance outside of standard working hours.
* Deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining a professional approach at all times.
About You
To be successful in this position, you will possess a strong technical background and a proactive approach to problem solving.
Essential Requirements
* Current domestic gas qualifications including ACS, CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, CPA1, HTR1, MET1, HWSS1, CMDDA1 and WREG.
* Previous experience in a service and breakdown engineering role.
* Strong diagnostic and fault finding skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage your own workload effectively.
* Commitment to maintaining excellent health and safety standards.
* Full UK driving licence.
