Domestic Gas Engineer – Yorkshire £40,000 + Company Van + Excellent Benefits Yorkshire | Permanent | Full-Time | Field-Based We are looking for an experienced Domestic Gas Engineer to join a growing service and repair team covering the Yorkshire region. This is a permanent, mobile Domestic Gas Engineer role focused mainly on domestic boiler servicing, breakdowns, fault finding, repairs and remedial works, with occasional boiler installations and some quality/audit work. If you’re an experienced Gas Engineer, Boiler Engineer, Heating Engineer or Service & Repair Engineer looking for a stable long-term position with a strong benefits package, this could be a great fit. What You’ll Be Doing As a Domestic Gas Engineer, you will: * Service and repair domestic gas boilers * Diagnose boiler, heating and hot water faults * Complete breakdowns, remedial works and repairs * Carry out occasional boiler installations * Attend domestic properties across the Yorkshire region * Complete Work in Progress and post-installation audits where required * Support other engineers with technical issues * Complete digital job reports, photographs and compliance paperwork * Work across a range of domestic boiler manufacturers * Deliver a professional level of customer service in occupied homes What We’re Looking For We are looking for a Domestic Gas Engineer with a strong recent background in service and repair rather than predominantly installation or commercial gas work. You’ll need: * Minimum 5 years’ domestic boiler service and repair experience * Strong breakdown and fault-finding experience * Current CCN1 * Current CENWAT * CPA1 * Good knowledge of domestic boilers and central heating systems * Experience working independently in occupied domestic properties * Full UK Driving Licence * Good customer service and communication skills * Comfortable using mobile job-management and reporting systems Previous experience with gas auditing, quality inspections, compliance checks or supporting other engineers would be beneficial but is not essential.
