Solihull | Up to £30,000 | Hybrid – 2 Days in the Office | Permanent
Are you an experienced Accounts Assistant who genuinely enjoys transactional finance and is looking for a stable, varied role within a busy and friendly finance team?
We are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join a well-established business based in Solihull. This is a fast-paced and varied transactional finance position, ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on, likes having plenty to do and is looking for a long-term role within a sociable and supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
*
Raising sales invoices and processing purchase ledger invoices
*
Bank and account reconciliations
*
Resolving invoice and payment queries
*
Making payments via BACS, CHAPS and Faster Payments
*
Maintaining accurate finance records
*
Supporting the wider finance team during busy periods
What We’re Looking For
*
Previous experience within an Accounts Assistant or transactional finance role
*
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
*
Comfortable working within a busy, fast-paced environment
*
Organised with the ability to manage competing priorities
*
A positive, hands-on approach and someone who enjoys being part of a team
Please note: This role won’t suit someone studying ACCA/CIMA or looking to progress with chartership, as there isn’t a development path into a qualified role; it’s best suited to someone who genuinely enjoys transactional finance and is looking for a stable, varied role long term.
