Job Description
Novara People are recruiting for an experienced FLT Driver / Picker to join a busy timber, panel and decorative-surface distribution warehouse in Tingley. The site handles a large range of timber, panels and laminates for distribution to customers.
Pay: £14.29 per hour
Hours: Monday–Friday, 2:30pm – 12:00am
The Role
This is a combined FLT and warehouse picking position, so candidates must be comfortable working both on and off the truck.
Duties will include:
Operating an FLT safely within the warehouse
Picking laminate and panel products to customer orders
Locating and retrieving stock from warehouse locations
Loading and unloading vehicles
Moving and putting away stock
Preparing orders ready for dispatch
Checking products and quantities against orders
Stock replenishment and general warehouse duties
Manual handling where required
Working accurately in a busy warehouse environment
Following all site Health & Safety procedures
Skills:

Valid FLT licence
Previous FLT experience within a warehouse environment
Picking/order preparation experience
Comfortable handling warehouse products and carrying out manual duties
Good attention to detail
Reliable with excellent attendance and timekeeping
Comfortable working the 2:30pm–12:00am shift
