Graduate Quantity Surveyor Location: Nottingham, Nottinghamshire Salary: Up to £35,000 DOE Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent Graduate Quantity Surveyor - Nottingham An established privately owned main contractor is looking to recruit a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team in Nottingham. This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveying graduate looking to build a long-term career with a successful construction business. You will work alongside experienced Quantity Surveyors, gaining hands-on exposure to live projects and developing your commercial skills from tender through to completion. Projects Include Commercial developments Office schemes Residential projects Healthcare Refurbishment and new-build Key Responsibilities Assist with the commercial management of live projects Support valuations, applications for payment and cost reporting Assist with subcontractor procurement and account management Review subcontractor applications and variations Support tender preparation and pricing Monitor project costs, budgets and forecasts Maintain commercial records and documentation Assist with contractual administration Support final accounts Identify commercial risks and opportunities Liaise with site teams, clients, consultants and subcontractors About You Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction or a related subject Strong numerical and analytical skills Good attention to detail Good Microsoft Excel and IT skills Strong communication skills Commercially minded and eager to learn Proactive and organised Able to work effectively as part of a teamRecent graduates and candidates with placement experience are encouraged to apply.
