Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Home Location: Chipping, Preston / PR3 Salary: £55,000 – £63,000 per annum + bonuses Hours: Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm + scheduled on-call Job Type: Full-time, Permanent JP Healthcare Recruitment is supporting a growing children’s residential care provider in the recruitment of an experienced Registered Manager for a home in the PR3 area of Lancashire. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced children’s residential care professional to lead and develop a strong staff team, create a positive culture within the home and deliver outstanding outcomes for children and young people. Salary & Benefits * £55,000 – £63,000 depending on experience and qualifications * Up to £3,000 annual Ofsted bonus * Up to £3,000 sign-on bonus within the first 6 months * Monday–Friday working pattern * Support towards Level 5 qualification * Blue Light Card * Employee wellbeing programme * Company pension * Supportive, values-led organisation Key Responsibilities * Lead the day-to-day running of the children's home * Recruit, develop and lead a high-performing residential care team * Maintain a safe, structured and nurturing environment * Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding standards * Oversee care quality, staff performance and service development * Build strong relationships with children, families, social workers and external professionals * Drive continuous improvement and strong Ofsted outcomes Requirements * Minimum 3 years’ senior experience within children’s EBD residential care * Previous leadership or management experience within a children’s home * Experience with Ofsted registration, inspections or both * Strong knowledge of safeguarding and Children’s Homes Regulations * Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent * Level 5 Leadership & Management preferred, or willingness to complete * Full UK driving licence * Right to work in the UK A strong track record of achieving or maintaining Good or Outstanding Ofsted outcomes would be highly desirable.
