Job Description
Job Title: M&E Quantity Surveyor Location: Dartford, Kent Salary: £80K + Bonus + Benefits The Role: * Prepare cost estimates and competitive tenders for M&E installation projects. * Manage commercial aspects of projects from tender through to final account. * Analyse drawings, specifications, and employer's requirements to produce accurate take-offs and pricing. * Monitor project costs, budgets, and commercial performance. * Procure subcontractors and suppliers, obtaining and evaluating competitive quotations. * Review subcontract orders and commercial terms. * Ensure tender submissions are accurate, compliant, and quality checked. * Produce commercial reports, forecasts, and maintain project cost data. * Work closely with the design and engineering teams to develop practical and cost-effective M&E solutions. The Ideal Candidate: * Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor, Assistant Quantity Surveyor, or Estimator within M&E. * HNC in Quantity Surveying (HND preferred). * Experience working on Mechanical, Electrical & Public Health projects. * Ability to interpret M&E drawings and specifications. * Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills. * Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office. * Excellent organisational and communication skills.
