Job Description
Have you worked in metal fabrication? Do you have experience operating a CNC Press Brake?
We're currently recruiting for a well-established manufacturing business in Ipswich, Suffolk. We are offering an immediate start for the right candidate.
You'll be responsible for operating and setting press brake machinery to accurately bend and form sheet metal components.
Duties: -
Operating and adjusting press brake machinery
Reading and working from engineering drawings
Bending and forming sheet metal to specification
Checking finished components for quality and accuracy
Handling and positioning sheet metal
Using hand and power tools
Maintaining a clean and safe working area
Following all health & safety proceduresWhat We're Looking For
Previous experience operating a folding machine
Experience working with sheet metal or in a manufacturing environment
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
Confident using hand and power tools
Good attention to detail
Strong understanding of health & safety
A hands-on and reliable approach to work

Monday - Thusday 14:00 - 22 :00 (17:00 early finish on Friday)
Potential for a permanent position (following a successful 3-month probation)
