Job Title: Electrical Pre-Construction Manager
Salary: £280 per day (self-employed, to start) — moving to a permanent package of circa £65,000 + car allowance (up to £71,000 depending on structure)
Location: Nationwide (hybrid — home/desktop based with UK-wide site visits)
Job Type: Contract to Permanent
Job Description:
Optio Resourcing is recruiting an Electrical Pre-Construction Manager on behalf of a well-established electrical contractor working across the UK.
This is a hybrid role — mainly desk-based, but you'll need to be comfortable travelling nationwide for site visits as required (not every day, but expect to be on the road most weeks).
Key responsibilities:
* Client-facing calls and relationship management
* Pulling together electrical designs
* Site setup documentation — RAMS, risk assessments
* Sourcing and managing tender inquiries
* Preparing and handing packages over to the Project Manager
What we're looking for:
* Strong electrical pre-construction/design background
* Confident, client-facing communicator
* Comfortable working independently and managing multiple workstreams
* Willing and able to travel nationwide
Package:
* Self-employed to start: £280/day
* Employed route: circa £65,000 + car allowance (up to £71,000 depending on structure)
