TIG Welder / Fabricator (Pipework) Location: County Cork, Ireland Salary: €20-26 per hour DOE, plus benefits package Type: Permanent | Full-Time Syntech Recruitment are working with a specialist client to recruit a number of TIG Welder / Fabricators for pipe spool and general fabrication to recognised international standards. If you're a skilled TIG welder who takes pride in a clean, strong weld and enjoys varied, interesting pipework, this is a permanent, stable role with genuine long-term prospects and a valued place in a skilled team. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING * TIG welding on pipe spool and fabrication work — the interesting, varied jobs (MIG on some work too) * Preparing, assembling and welding components to a high, consistent standard * Working from drawings, weld maps and fabrication isometrics * Making sure fit-up and weld quality meet drawing and WPS requirements WHAT YOU'LL BRING * Certified, experienced TIG welder — TIG experience is essential * Genuine pipework experience, ideally in stainless steel (SS) * Good knowledge of welding procedures, codes and standards (ASTM, ISO) * Confident reading drawings, weld maps and technical documentation * Pride in your workmanship and a strong, consistent standard of weld * Good communication and a solid team attitude * Eligible to work in Ireland without visa sponsorship (sponsorship is only considered for candidates with strong, senior-level skills and experience) NICE TO HAVE * MIG welding experience * Experience across both stainless steel and carbon steel spool fabrication * Coded welding qualifications (EN ISO 9606 or similar) WHY THIS ONE'S WORTH A LOOK * Strong salary — €40,000 to €50,000 depending on experience, plus a benefits package * Varied fabrication work to recognised international standards — no two weeks the same * Permanent, full-time and stable, with a specialist client who values quality workmanship * Genuine long-term prospects and career development with a business that promotes from within * A skilled, supportive team and a well-run shop floor Apply today to speak with one of our consultants — or get in touch for a confidential chat before you decide.
