CARPENTER – 1ST FIX
Location: Selby, North Yorkshire
Project: Care Home Extension
Duration: Few days
Start Date: ASAP
Rate: £25-£26 per hour
We are currently looking for an experienced 1st Fix Carpenter to join a busy construction project in Selby, working on a care home extension.
The successful Carpenter will be carrying out 1st fix carpentry works, with the main duty being the installation of wall plates as part of the new extension.
Duties:
Installation of wall plates
Carrying out 1st fix carpentry works
Working from drawings and specifications
Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard
Working safely and efficiently on site
Maintaining a clean and organised working area
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Carpenter
Strong 1st fix carpentry experience
Previous experience installing wall plates
Ability to read and work from drawings
Own tools and PPE
CSCS card
Reliable and hardworking
