Industrial Painters
Location: Plymouth
Contract: Permanent
Pay: £17.00–£27.20 per hour
About the Role
Denholm Industrial Services is currently recruiting 10 experienced Industrial Painters to join our team in Plymouth on a permanent basis.
The successful candidates will carry out industrial painting and protective coating activities while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and productivity.
Pay Rates
*
Basic: £17.00 per hour
*
Overtime 1: £22.75 per hour
*
Overtime 2: £27.20 per hour
Key Responsibilities
*
Prepare surfaces ready for painting and coating applications
*
Apply industrial paints and protective coating systems
*
Use brushes, rollers and other relevant painting equipment
*
Follow coating specifications, technical instructions and safe working procedures
*
Inspect completed work and identify any defects
*
Maintain equipment and keep work areas clean and safe
*
Comply with all company and site health, safety, environmental and quality requirements
Essential Requirements
*
Valid Bronze TTP qualification
*
Minimum of three years’ relevant industrial painting experience
*
Good knowledge of surface preparation and industrial coating systems
*
Ability to work safely and effectively as part of a team
*
Right to work in the UK
*
Willingness and eligibility to complete BPSS and SC security clearance
Additional Requirements
*
Applicants will be required to apply for a DBS check
*
Drug and alcohol testing will form part of the induction process
*
Continued employment will be subject to obtaining the required security clearance
