Electrical Project Engineer – Deeside / North West – Capital Projects – £46-50k + Overtime + 10% Pension + Bonus +++ £46-50k +++ Paid overtime +++ 10% pension +++ Quarterly bonus +++ BUPA +++ Major site investment +++ Samuel Frank is recruiting for an Electrical Project Engineer to join a major manufacturing company in the Deeside area. The business is investing heavily in plant improvements and long-term development, giving the successful Electrical Project Engineer the opportunity to deliver a range of electrically biased CapEx and plant improvement projects from concept through to commissioning and handover. This could be a particularly good opportunity for an Electrical Project Engineer with 2+ years’ relevant project experience who wants to develop their career within a large, well-established engineering environment. Key aspects of the Electrical Project Engineer role include – * Deliver electrically biased capital projects from concept, design and specification through to installation, commissioning and handover * Manage project scope, budgets, programmes, contractors, suppliers and key stakeholders * Produce project plans, specifications, risk assessments and Management of Change documentation * Manage equipment suppliers and installation activities on site * Support plant improvement, process enhancement and manufacturing development projects * Work closely with engineering, production, maintenance, procurement and HSE teams * Ensure projects are delivered safely on time and within budget Electrical Project Engineer – skills and experience required – * Degree, HND or HNC in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline * 2+ years’ experience within an Electrical Project Engineer, Project Engineer or similar engineering role * Experience of CapEx, plant improvement or engineering projects within manufacturing, process, heavy industry, metals, chemical, utilities or a similar environment * Strong communication, project management and stakeholder management skills * Experience of continuous process manufacturing would be particularly relevant * Knowledge of CDM, functional safety, machinery safety, Siemens or Rockwell PLCs, AC/DC drives or instrumentation would be advantageous Package includes – * £46-50k basic salary * Paid overtime * 10% pension contribution * Quarterly bonus * BUPA * 28 days holiday + Bank Holidays * Annual pay review * Professional membership subscriptions * Support towards further professional qualifications The site is easily commutable from Deeside, Chester, Wrexham, Ellesmere Port, Liverpool, Runcorn, Widnes, Northwich and Warrington
