Project Manager – CAT B Fit Out Central London Freelance / Contract – 12 Months+ Immediate / ASAP Start Competitive Day Rate We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to deliver two high-specification CAT B office fit outs within a prestigious, fully operational commercial building in Central London. Our client has been working within the building for the past three years and, following the successful delivery of multiple packages, continues to be awarded additional work. They have now secured the complete fit out of two further floors.. The Role You will take responsibility for the delivery of both CAT B fit outs, with works including: * Full CAT B office fit out * New M&E installations and coordination * Suspended ceilings and associated finishes * Management of subcontractors and site teams * Programme management and coordination * Quality control and snagging * Health & Safety * Client and stakeholder liaison A major part of this role will be communication and coordination. The building will remain fully operational throughout the works, with numerous businesses and occupants working within the building. You must therefore be an experienced, professional Project Manager who is comfortable managing works within a live commercial environment, coordinating with building management, clients, occupants and subcontractors while ensuring disruption is kept to an absolute minimum. Requirements * Strong Project Management experience within commercial fit out * Proven delivery of CAT B office fit out projects * Good understanding of M&E coordination * Experience working within live/occupied commercial buildings * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills * Strong programme and subcontractor management * SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid preferred This is initially a 12-month freelance position, although with our client's continued workload within the building there is a strong possibility of the contract extending beyond this
