CLASS 2 HGV DRIVER – FOOD DELIVERIES IMMEDIATE START | ONGOING WORK | FULL-TIME | MONDAY–FRIDAY We are currently recruiting Class 2 HGV Drivers (Cat C) for ongoing, full-time work delivering food products to customers across a variety of locations. This is a great opportunity for reliable and hardworking drivers looking for consistent Monday-to-Friday work, regular hours and an immediate start. Pay & Working Hours Pay: £17.00 per hour PAYE / £22ph umbrella  Position: Full-time Work: Ongoing / long-term Days: Monday to Friday Start times: Between 6:00am and 7:00am Work type: Food deliveries Drivers’ Mate: Provided Start: Immediate The Role As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering food products to customers at multiple locations throughout the day. You will work alongside a Drivers’ Mate, who will assist with deliveries, making the role more efficient and helping with the physical aspects of the job. The position involves job-and-knock deliveries, meaning you will be required to complete multiple deliveries throughout the day. Drivers will need to be comfortable with a physically demanding role, working to delivery schedules and providing a professional service to customers. Key Responsibilities Safely driving and operating a Class 2 HGV vehicle. Delivering food products to customers at multiple locations. Completing job-and-knock deliveries efficiently and safely. Working closely with your allocated Drivers’ Mate. Loading, unloading and handling food products where required. Completing delivery paperwork and/or electronic delivery records. Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting any defects. Following all relevant driving, health and safety, and company procedures. Providing excellent customer service at each delivery. Ensuring deliveries are completed accurately and on time. Driver Requirements To be considered for this role, you will need: A valid Class 2 (Cat C) driving licence. Valid Driver CPC qualification. Valid Digital Tachograph Card (Digi Card). Previous HGV/Class 2 driving experience is preferred. Good communication and customer service skills. A reliable and professional attitude. The ability to work effectively as part of a team. Good physical fitness, as the role involves regular deliveries and manual handling. A strong work ethic and good timekeeping. The ability to work independently while following delivery schedules and instructions.
