Customer Service & Logistics Co-ordinator
Plympton, Plymouth
Part-Time | Monday to Friday | 11:00am - 4:00pm
Pertemps are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Customer Service & Logistics Co-ordinator to join a busy and expanding business based in Plympton.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established company experiencing continued growth, offering a varied and fast-paced role where no two days are the same.
Whether you're coordinating urgent deliveries, supporting customers, or working closely with drivers and logistics partners, you'll play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly while delivering exceptional customer service.
What you'll be doing:
Coordinating scheduled and urgent deliveries across the UK
Managing customer enquiries and providing real-time updates
Liaising with drivers, suppliers and logistics partners
Preparing quotations and responding to service requests
Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of operations
Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
Identifying opportunities to support business growth
Ensuring high levels of service are delivered at all times
Helping maximise operational efficiency through effective planning and communication
What we're looking for:
Previous experience in customer service, administration, logistics, sales support or a similar role
Good geographical knowledge of the UK and confidence working with locations, routes and distances to support effective delivery planning
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask
Good attention to detail
Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team
