Looking for a rewarding role in education? Supply Staff LTD is hiring an active Behaviour Mentor for a secondary school in East London.
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with students who face behavioural challenges, helping them develop positive strategies to thrive in school. This full-time Behaviour Mentor position offers excellent career progression and stable pay rates.
Key Tasks:
- Deliver targeted academic and routine guidance to students, 1-on-1 or in small groups.
- Guide student behaviour with patience, clear boundaries, and positive reinforcement.
- Create and implement structured behaviour plans to help students make positive choices.
- Track, monitor, and report student progress or attendance to teachers and senior staff.
Requirements:
- Proven experience or relevant training as a Behaviour Mentor, Youth Worker, or SEND Assistant.
- Deep knowledge of secondary classroom management and pastoral care.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willing to apply.
- Full compliance with standard UK school safeguarding regulations.
