Job Description
We are currently looking for an experienced Dumper Driver to join a long-term civil engineering project in the Suffolk area.
This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and experienced Dumper Driver looking for consistent, long-term work on a busy site.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a dumper safely and efficiently, supporting the wider groundworks and civils team.
Duties will include:
• Operating a dumper on site
• Moving and distributing soil, stone, aggregates and other materials
• Working alongside Groundworkers and machine operators
• Supporting excavation and trenching works
• Loading and unloading materials safely
• Carrying out daily machine checks
• Working safely around other plant, machinery and site personnel
• Following site instructions and health & safety procedures
• Assisting with general site duties when required
Requirements
• Previous experience operating a dumper on civil engineering or groundworks projects
• Valid CPCS or NPORS card
• Relevant dumper category/ticket
• Good understanding of site health & safety
• Reliable and hardworking attitude
• Able to work as part of a team
• Good communication and awareness when working around other plant and personnel
Previous experience working on large civils, infrastructure, utilities or earthworks projects would be advantageous.
