Fire & Security Service Engineer – £30,000–£40,000 – North East- OTE £50,000- £60,000 * £30,000 – £40,000 basic salary, depending on experience * £50,000 – £60,000 realistic earning potential including overtime & travel time * Door-to-door travel paid * Company vehicle + fuel card * No on-call rota * 20 days' annual leave + bank holidays, increasing after 3 years * Pension, laptop, specialist tools and uniform provided * Full-time, permanent position * Immediate start available Fire & Security Service Engineer – Overview An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Fire & Security Service Engineer to join an established and growing engineering team covering the North East. This is a regional Fire & Security Service Engineer position covering areas including Newcastle, Durham, Stockton-on-Tees and surrounding areas. You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, repairing and fault-finding across a range of fire and security systems, working across commercial, industrial and residential premises. Fire & Security Service Engineer Role & Responsibilities: * Service and maintain fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV and access control systems. * Attend reactive maintenance and fault-finding visits, diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs. * Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and routine servicing. * Work across commercial, industrial and residential sites. * Travel throughout the North East, including Newcastle, Durham, Stockton-on-Tees and surrounding areas. * Complete service reports and relevant job documentation. * Provide a professional service to customers and represent the company positively on site. * Work independently while maintaining high standards of workmanship, health & safety and compliance. Fire & Security Service Engineer – Experience & Skills Required * The successful Fire & Security Service Engineer will ideally have experience working across a range of fire and security systems. * Experience with some of the following manufacturers and systems would be advantageous:Galaxy, Texecom, Scantronic, Menvier, Advanced, Kentec, Ziton, C-TEC, Hikvision, Paxton and other similar fire and security systems * You should be comfortable working independently, fault-finding on site and dealing professionally with customers. * A full UK driving licence or equivalent is required for this position.
