Job Description
Questech Recruitment are currently supporting a well-established manufacturing business in the Sherburn in Elmet area who are looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer - Electrical bias.
Location: Sherburn in Elmet
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum
Shifts: Monday to Friday – Rotating 06:00–14:00 / 14:00–22:00
The Role
As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
* Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
* Fault finding and repairing electrical and mechanical breakdowns.
* Working on a range of production and manufacturing machinery.
* Diagnosing faults on motors, sensors, contactors, inverters and control systems.
* Completing mechanical repairs involving bearings, gearboxes, conveyors, pumps and other equipment.
* Responding efficiently to breakdowns to minimise production downtime.
* Supporting machinery improvements, installations and modifications.
* Identifying recurring faults and helping improve equipment reliability.
* Ensuring all engineering work is completed safely and to site standards.
* Working closely with production and other engineering team members.
The Successful Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
* Is a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias.
* Has previous experience within a manufacturing, production or industrial environment.
* Has strong electrical fault-finding skills.
* Has a good working knowledge of mechanical maintenance.
* Ideally holds a relevant engineering qualification such as NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent.
* Is comfortable working a rotating double-day shift pattern
