Contract: Full-time (Monday - Friday)
About the Role
We are recruiting a Deputy Manager to support our Registered Manager within a 3-bedded therapeutic EBD Children’s Home in Birmingham.

Key Responsibilities
* Co-manage home budgets and resources efficiently
* Oversee staff development, supervision, and appraisals
* Support and guide the care team in delivering therapeutic parenting approaches
* Maintain and update placement plans, risk assessments, and care records
* Promote the wellbeing, growth, and independence of young people in placement
* Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and company policies
Requirements
* Minimum 2 years’ experience managing or supervising staff in a children’s residential setting
* Level 3 Diploma in Children’s Residential Care or equivalent (Level 4+ desirable)
* Strong understanding of safeguarding, behaviour management, and trauma-informed practice
* Full UK driving licence (essential, due to on-call requirements)
* Flexibility to work long shifts, weekends, and sleep-ins
