Assistant Quantity Surveyor – Enfield
£35,000–£45,000 + Benefits + Career Progression
An established, family-run construction company with around 40 years’ experience is looking to recruit an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an AQS with a few years’ experience to develop their career while working closely with experienced Senior Quantity Surveyors and approachable Directors.
The role:
* Assistant Quantity Surveyor position based around Enfield/Chingford
* Salary of £35,000–£45,000 + benefits
* Predominantly office-based in Chingford
* Structured career progression

* Varied projects across London and the surrounding areas
* Projects include internal and external refurbishments
* High-end construction projects
* Restoration and refurbishment of existing/period buildings
Key duties:
* Assisting with valuations and variations
* Subcontractor payments and procurement
* Cost reporting and budget monitoring
* Preparing tender documentation
* Reviewing subcontractor accounts
* Assisting with contract administration
* Liaising with clients and subcontractors
* Supporting Senior Quantity Surveyors across multiple projects
