Job Description
The Role
The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will provide tailored support to pupils across the school, working on a 1:1 and small-group basis. You will support learning, emotional wellbeing, communication and positive behaviour while working closely with teaching staff and the wider support team.
The Ideal Candidate
Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEND
Confident supporting pupils with additional learning and behavioural needs
Patient, caring and resilient approach
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Able to adapt support to meet individual needs
Reliable, proactive and committed to inclusive education
