Electrical Supervisor – Rail Industry
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join a long-term, ongoing rail project based in Glasgow.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled electrical professional with rail experience to secure a long-term position working on a major project.
The Role
As Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing electrical works on site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required standards.
Key responsibilities:
* Supervising electrical teams and subcontractors on site
* Coordinating daily electrical activities and resources
* Ensuring works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and programmes
* Maintaining high standards of health & safety and quality
* Liaising with site management, engineers and project teams
* Carrying out site inspections and monitoring progress
* Supporting the delivery of electrical installations within a rail environment
* Ensuring all works comply with relevant rail and electrical standards
Requirements
* Previous experience as an Electrical Supervisor / Electrical Chargehand / Electrical Site Supervisor
* Experience working within the rail industry
* Strong understanding of electrical installation and site supervision
* Good knowledge of health & safety requirements
* Ability to manage and coordinate electrical teams
* PTS (Personal Track Safety) – highly desirable
* Relevant electrical qualifications preferred
* SSSTS/SMSTS or equivalent supervisory qualification advantageous
