A growing Devon fabrication and manufacturing business needs an experienced Coded Pipe Welder to join its workshop team.
With new contracts secured, a strong pipeline of work and a new manufacturing facility being developed, there's plenty of work ahead.
The Job
As Coded Pipe Welder, you'll work on bespoke stainless steel pipework and fabricated components for major food manufacturing facilities.
You'll be:
MIG & TIG welding stainless steel pipework.
Reading and working from engineering drawings.
Cutting, forming, fabricating and assembling components.
Producing high-quality coded welds.
Checking finished work against specification.
Helping coordinate workshop activity.
Supporting apprentices and other members of the team. What You Need
We're looking for an experienced Coded Pipe Welder who knows their way around stainless steel fabrication.
Essential:
Strong MIG & TIG welding skills.
Stainless steel experience.
Fabrication/manufacturing background.
Ability to read technical drawings.
High standards of workmanship and safety. Experience in food manufacturing or hygienic environments would be useful. IPAF, Forklift or Telehandler tickets are also a bonus.
The Money
£23/hour – rising to £25/hour with all required codes
Regular weekday & weekend overtime available
Annual bonus worth up to one month's salary
