Year 4 Teaching Assistant – Large 3-Form Entry Primary | MAT Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term Pay: £92.56 – £100 per day (paid weekly) Location: Local Community Primary Are you an experienced or aspiring Teaching Assistant looking to join a dynamic, well-resourced primary school with clear avenues for career development? Engage Education is working in partnership with a large, 3-form entry primary school—proudly part of a prominent Multi-Academy Trust (MAT)—to appoint a dedicated Year 4 Teaching Assistant. About the Role As a Key Stage 2 specialist, you will work closely with Year 4 class teachers to support pupils during a pivotal academic year as they build independent learning skills and tackle higher-level curriculum targets. Key Responsibilities: * Providing targeted 1-to-1 and small-group support in literacy and numeracy (including times-table prep) * Delivering structured intervention programmes to keep pupils on track with year-group expectations * Assisting class teachers with lesson delivery, resource preparation, and classroom management * Supporting children with additional learning needs or SEND where required * Encouraging positive behaviour, emotional resilience, and active engagement in lessons * Collaborating with the wider Year 4 year-group team across all three classes The Ideal Candidate Whether you bring prior KS2 classroom experience or have a strong foundation supporting children's learning, we want to hear from you.
