Site Manager – Supermarket Fit-Out
Location: Elephant & Castle, London
Project Value: £4 million
Duration: Initial 4 weeks, with strong potential for ongoing work
Hours: 7.00am – 5.00pm
Starting: Monday 7th September
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Manager to join a leading Tier 1 main contractor on the final four weeks of a fast-paced supermarket fit-out project in Elephant & Castle.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for driving the project through its final stages, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining high standards of health and safety, and ensuring the works are completed on time and to the required quality.
Key Requirements
* Extensive experience delivering fast-paced fit-out projects
* Strong retail or supermarket fit-out experience
* Proven experience working for a main contractor
* Excellent subcontractor management and coordination skills
* Strong knowledge of health and safety procedures
* Ability to manage programme pressures and meet demanding deadlines
* All relevant site management qualifications, including SMSTS, CSCS (Managers), First Aid and UKATA Asbestos Awareness
* Available to start at short notice
This is initially a four-week assignment, but there is a strong pipeline of work available for the right person. The next project is a £9 million office fit-out scheduled to commence in October, offering genuine potential for continuity and longer-term opportunities
