SEN Teaching Assistant – Secondary School Lewisham - Start ASAP ADHD & ASD (Autism) Up to £115 per day We are currently recruiting for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive SEN secondary school in Lewisham, starting ASAP. The successful candidate will support students across KS3 and KS4, working with learners with ADHD and ASD (Autism) and helping them access learning, develop confidence and remain engaged in the classroom. The role will involve: Providing 1:1 and small-group support to SEN learners Supporting students with ADHD and ASD (Autism) Assisting with learning across KS3 and KS4 Supporting positive behaviour and emotional regulation Helping students stay focused and engaged Working closely with teachers and the wider SEN teamThe ideal candidate must have: Previous experience working with SEN learners – essential Experience supporting students with ADHD and/or ASD (Autism) A patient, caring and resilient approach Good understanding of SEND and individual learning needs Strong communication and teamwork skills A genuine passion for supporting young people with additional needsWhy working with Horizon Teachers Long-term opportunity at supportive SEN secondary school Experienced consultants supporting you from interview through to placement Flexible pay options Permanent equivalent rate after 12 weeks, usually resulting in a pay riseIf you have experience working with SEN learners and are passionate about supporting young people with additional needs, we would love to hear from you.
