Clinical Nurse Specialist
Croydon, London
Up to £50,000 D.O.E plus bonus
Full-time, Monday to Friday, no nights/on call/long shifts/weekend working.
Due to significant growth and development, Apollo Home Healthcare is hiring a Clinical Nurse Specialist to lead complex care nursing for adults and children in their own homes across London and surrounding areas. Ideal for a Registered Nurse (RN) with A&E, ICU, or critical care background seeking a Monday to Friday role. There is no requirement to work the on-call rota, nights, long shifts, or weekends in this role!
The Role:
Take clinical ownership of complex care caseloads, including paediatric packages, while training and upskilling HCAs and Support Workers delivering care in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and review bespoke complex care plans.
* Deliver clinical training for HCAs/Support Workers
* Review clinical documentation (MAR charts, care records)
* Ensure care meets national compliance standards.
* Liaise with clients, families, and MDTs.
Essential Skills:
* Airway management, tracheostomy care, suctioning
* Invasive/non-invasive ventilation management
* Enteral feeding (PEG/JEJ/NG)
* Valid NMC PIN, 4-5 plus years' post-qualification experience (with at least 18 months to 2 years in the community)
* Full UK driving licence and own vehicle.
Spinal injury, ABI, or neurological care experience a plus.
