Warehouse Operative
Company: Westray Recruitment
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 9:00am to 6:00pm
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour for the first 12 weeks, increasing to £12.90 per hour thereafter
The Role
Westray Recruitment is looking for reliable Warehouse Operatives to support a busy operation during the Christmas period.
You will carefully pack finished products into boxes, ensuring they are secure, correctly labelled and ready to be shipped directly to customers. This is a hands-on role that involves standing at a workbench for most of the shift and helping to organise outgoing deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
Packing finished goods safely and accurately into boxes
Checking products before dispatch
Ensuring orders are correctly packaged and labelled
Organising outgoing deliveries
Preparing completed orders for shipment to customers
Handling products carefully to prevent damage
Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised workstation
Following warehouse procedures and health and safety guidelines
Supporting colleagues during busy periods
About You
We are looking for someone who:
Is reliable, punctual and committed
Has excellent attention to detail
Is comfortable standing at a workbench throughout the shift
Can work efficiently in a busy environment
Takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work
Is organised and able to follow instructions
Works well independently and as part of a team
Has previous warehouse, packing or dispatch experience, although this is not essential
What’s on Offer
£12.71 per hour for the first 12 weeks
Pay increase to £12.90 per hour after 12 weeks
Temporary work during the busy Christmas period
Monday to Friday
Consistent hours from 9:00am to 6:00pm
