Mobile Refrigeration Engineer

Mobile Refrigeration Engineer Location: Leicester & Northampton Salary: Up to £50,000 depending on experience An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mobile Refrigeration Engineer to join a leading FM engineering maintenance company, working across a varied portfolio of industrial environments throughout Leicester and Northampton. The successful engineer will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance of commercial and industrial refrigeration systems across a range of sites. This is a hands-on mobile role suited to an experienced refrigeration engineer with strong fault-finding, diagnostic and repair abilities. There will also be some travel across the surrounding areas when required to provide additional support and cover. Key Responsibilities * Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across food production sites. * Maintain, repair and diagnose commercial and industrial refrigeration systems. * Carry out fault finding, diagnostics and remedial works. * Respond to breakdowns and complete repairs efficiently and safely. * Complete routine inspections and ensure all works are carried out in line with relevant regulations and site procedures. * Complete accurate maintenance records and job reports. * Provide additional support across other sites when required. * Maintain strong customer service standards while working across client environments. Requirements * Proven commercial or industrial refrigeration maintenance experience. * F-Gas Category 1 qualification – essential. * Strong fault-finding, diagnostic and repair skills. * Experience working on refrigeration systems within commercial or industrial environments. * CO₂ (R744) or ammonia (R717) experience would be desirable. * Full UK driving licence. * Good communication and customer service skills. * Ability to work independently while also supporting the wider engineering team.
