Job Description
Salter Grange is recruiting an experienced Electrical Engineer for a major data centre project in Vienna, Austria. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a large-scale, technically complex data centre project, working closely with the Electrical Project Manager and wider construction team. Electrical Engineer Key Responsibilities * Coordinate and supervise electrical installation works on site. * Plan and schedule daily works for electrical teams and subcontractors. * Manage and coordinate electrical subcontractors, ensuring progress against programme. * Supervise the installation of electrical systems, equipment and materials. * Ensure all electrical works comply with safety standards, permits and relevant codes. * Coordinate electrical works with Civil, Mechanical and other project teams to avoid clashes. * Review method statements, work procedures and technical requirements. * Track scope changes, engineering changes, technical queries and non-conformances. * Liaise with the Electrical Project Manager on design requirements and project issues. * Monitor site progress and report key issues to senior management. * Support and develop electrical team members, including training and performance management. Electrical Engineer Key Requirements * Degree-qualified Electrical Engineer or Industrial Engineer. * 10+ years' experience in a similar Electrical Engineering role. * Previous data centre experience is essential. * Strong experience supervising electrical installation works on major construction projects. * Good understanding of electrical construction, coordination and site delivery. * Strong organisational and planning skills. * Excellent communication, problem-solving and decision-making abilities. * Strong IT and engineering software skills. * Ability to manage workload, prioritise effectively and work independently. * Strong team leadership and subcontractor coordination skills.
