Vehicle Technician – Bristol
Location: Bristol
Salary: Basic Salary up to £42,000 + OTE up to £48,000 + benefits
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm + Saturday rota
We are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic to join a successful and established automotive dealership in Bristol.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technician currently working within a main dealer, independent garage, premium automotive environment or fast-fit centre, looking to develop their career with a professional and well-equipped workshop.
Vehicle Technician – Key Responsibilities:
Vehicle servicing, maintenance, repairs and diagnostics
Mechanical and electrical fault finding
Brakes, suspension, steering, clutches, wheel bearings and exhausts
Vehicle electrical and electronic systems
Diagnostic equipment and fault diagnosis
Air conditioning servicing
Hybrid and EV servicing and repairs
Completing vehicle health checks and service paperwork
Working to manufacturer and dealership standards
Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standardVehicle Technician – Requirements
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Vehicle Mechanic or Motor Vehicle Technician
Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge
Diagnostic experience
Full UK Driving Licence
Hybrid/EV qualification desirable but full training can be provided
MOT Licence desirable but not essential
We are also happy to consider HGV Technicians, Auto Electricians, MOT Testers and experienced Apprentice Technicians with relevant qualifications and transferable skills.
