Field Service Engineer - UPS / Critical Power Location: London, South East and Oxford Ideal location: Borehamwood or surrounding areas Salary: Circa £45,000 + Bonus Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 8:30am to 5:00pm Job Type: Full-time, permanent We are recruiting a Field Service Engineer to join a world leading engineering organisation specialising in engineering, installing and maintaining critical energy solutions. As the successful Field Service Engineer you will become a trusted technical partner to our customers. This is more than a role focused on fixing equipment - it's an opportunity to build strong customer relationships, understand their challenges, provide the right solutions and represent a globally recognised energy brand in the field. The role: Service, repair and commission UPS and power protection equipment Carry out planned preventative maintenance Complete battery replacements and electrical fault-finding Provide technical support to customers Complete service reports and associated documentation Participate in the on-call rota Requirements: NVQ Level 3 or higher in an electrical discipline is essential Previous UPS or critical power experience essential Strong electrical or electronic engineering experience Customer-facing field service experience Full UK driving licence Able to cover London, Milton Keynes, Bedford, Luton, Oxford and surrounding areas. Package: Circa £45,000 basic salary Annual bonus of approximately £2,250 Around £2,000 per year for participating in the on-call rota (1 week in 6) Company car, typically a BMW 3 Series or similar Food and hotel expenses paid in full where applicable Ongoing training and career development Apply now to discuss the role in more detail.
